A quick escape-your guide to some of Savannah’s Must-Do’s

There are so many fun things to do in Savannah. My husband and I took a spur of the moment trip on Valentine’s and it was such a blast. We stayed at Andaz Savannah in one of their rooms with a balcony. We were right near Ellis Square. A perfect spot to walk to area restaurants, walk along the river and catch a tour.
Fun eats:
Treylor Park-a neat environment that serves up some pretty good sandwiches
Top Deck Bar-a rooftop bar that overlooks the river
Rocks on the Roof-Inside The Bohemian Hotel-a MUST do! Great environment and fun staff
The Ordinary Pub-a pub located downstairs in a building-if you don’t look up, you may miss the sign…but you don’t want to miss the food.
Little Duck Diner-the perfect breakfast place just across the street from the Andaz.
Better than Sex Restaurant- a dessert delicacy (this is a chain and you can find them throughout!)
Maple Street Biscuit Company-When you place your order, they ask you your celebrity crush and that’s who they call when your order is ready. I recommend the grits-yum, yum!
Things to See:
Walk around town-the buildings alone are so beautiful to see
Forsyth Park
Savannah Trolly Tour-We decided to try this hop on and hop off tour. It was interesting to learn about the history of Savannah. It is around 90 minutes if you stay on the bus for the entire time. You can hop on and hop at each of the stops. If you didn’t want to walk around Savannah or are unable to do so, this is a great way to learn and see the city.
America’s Prohibition Museum-a time-period correct museum that displays history and artifacts from the prohibition area. At the end of the tour be sure to grab some exclusive drinks and get a taste of the time.
Ghost Tours-We did not do a ghost tour but is in on the to-do list when we return
Whether you are in Savannah for the weekend or a week, you will not go hungry. There are so many highly recommended places to eat, we had a hard time to choosing. We will be back!
-XOXO
