Quick Long Weekend Trip to Disney World

Disney’s Magic Kingdom- March 2023

When we go to Disney, we often don’t care where we stay because we are not in the rooms very much except to sleep and shower. Not his trip, we decided to stay at All Star Sports. We had a room that we could tell had not been renovated in some time but was clean and frankly, that is what we care about the most. The personnel at the resort were friendly and accommodating.

The first day we had Magic Kingdom booked. We got up and we were able to get in 30 minutes earlier because we stayed on property. This helped us bee-line for Space Mountain so we could “save” our Genie+ for other rides that we wanted to join in on.

Here are our steps throughout the day:

830 early entry from All Star Music (we rode the bus from the resort)

**We missed the firewoods due to our dinner reservation time at 7:25pm. We tried to do Jungle Cruise but we were tapped out and ready to hit the bed before we ventured into Animal Kingdom the next day.

**Animal Kingdom Day 2

We did early entry with staying on property here as well. This made for GREAT photos (with no one in the background) by the tree of life first thing!

Dinosaur (We had an adventure of this ride! The ride stopped quickly right after taking off and we waited for approx. 10/15 minutes while they repaired)

We left the park around 5pm. I don’t do water rides so we did not do Kali River Rapids and decided to not ride the Tricera Top Spin. I focused my time on meeting characters and doing as many “big” rides as possible.

We were able to spend our AK day efficiently so we could meet our FL friends for dinner at Disney Springs. It worked out really well and I believe planning and getting to the park as it opened helped.

I know there are people who could plan out Disney much better than I can, but I love going and spending time just taking it all in. I can not wait to go back and take my nephew and hopefully make it to Disneyland for the 100th year celebration!
